…”N” Roll
The 20th century art book (Phaidon, London 1996) describes Jiri Kolar as
having “radically altered the history of art”
The collage shown on the cover titled “Birds for Hans Sach” was created by
Kolar in that famous year of 1969. The year the Rockin ‘N’ Rollin reached
its epicentre, radically altering the way the Woodstock generation perceived
the three tenses, but most important the present, which is constant and
overwhelming.
Uptight countries like Afghanistan and Somalia should invest in Rock “N”
Roll and get on with serious living, in the present of course, away from
hunger, disease and prejudices.
For where there’s poverty there’s ignorance.
Where there’s hate there’s war.
Third world is ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of most afflictions.
Rock “N” Roll, with its kings (Elvis Presley) and Queen (s), offers a
kingdom’s wisdom.
The following pages represent an alternative investment in rock without the
rollin’ of course.
